If you're not into online gaming, you might be asking what Xfire is all about. Xfire tells online gamers if their gaming buddies are online and the games they are playing. Gaming statistics are made available with the use of the xfire client (download required) or via web access to xfire.com.
A gadgetized Xfire does something better.. it can be embedded in your own personalized iGoogle page, blog or website by just inserting a single line of script. Ok.. make that a very long line.
Measuring 280 x 480 pixels, it is narrow enough to be tucked in a sidebar but definitely large enough to be entirely missed. Initially, the gadget displays a member's profile, games, friends, and servers. The use of scrollable lists can show your entire army of friends.
